If there is a large electromagnetic induction source or high frequency source near the sensor, be careful as it may malfunction.
When using multiple fan motors with relay output type sensors adjacent to each other, install each a fan sensor at a distance of 20 mm or more. Depending on the model, relay malfunction may occur due to mutual interference.
If it is affected by the magnetic field of the installation environment, cover the sensor part with an iron plate to reduce the effect. Please be sure to check the operation in the operating environment before using it.
The DC power supply type has a diode to prevent reverse connection. There is no risk of damage even if the reverse connection is made by mistake, but please note that it will not work if the power supply polarity is reversely connected.
If the sensor is used beyond its maximum rating, it may cause a malfunction or damage internal semiconductor components. Also, please note that high voltage electrical noise from lightning surges may cause malfunctions.
The fan sensor is an important sensor that detects abnormalities in the fan motor of the system you are using, its wiring system, power supply for lightning supply, and deterioration of the cooling capacity of the system. In order to use the product with peace of mind, we recommend that you check the system functions by making the conditions for alarm output forcibly, such as by shutting off the power supply of the fan motor periodically. In the case of the startup delay timer type, check the sensor operation after 1 minute from supplying the sensor power.
All the rotating blade detection parts of the fan sensor are adjusted. Disassembly or modification by the customer may cause the loss of the sensor function. Also, please do not do so as it may not be covered by the warranty.
Similar to the fan motor, please be careful as the function as a fan sensor may be lost due to drop impact or vibration.
When foreign substance is entangled in the rotating part of the fan motor and it is forcibly restrained (locked), the blades may bend. In this case, the rotation blade detection of fan sensor may not be performed properly.
The sensor has the method to detect metal blades by a magnetic force, so a permanent magnet is installed on the outer surface of the fan frame. In the slow-up method in which the rated voltage is applied by gradually increasing it from a low voltage to the fan motor, the starting torque is low, please check in advance as the fan may not be able to rotate due to the force drawn by the permanent magnets.
ファンモーターに低い電圧から徐々に増加させて定格電圧を印加するスローアップ方式では起動トルクが低くなるため、永久磁石が引き寄せる力によりファンが回転できない場合がありますので事前に御確認下さい。
